The MINX Bikini Diet Plan

Whether you have just a few pounds to lose or need to lose a good deal of weight, we have the plan that will get you to your goals and faster than you probably think possible.

The MINX Bikini Diet is not like many other diets that you've tried or seen. It was developed by a respected personal trainer with a degree in nutrition and a belief in eating plans that are simple to use, easy to follow and extremely healthy. This plan is based on the latest proven research into weight loss and nutrition.

Believe it or not, there is no calorie counting, no portioning and you're encouraged to eat as much and as often as possible. Does that sound like your usual diet plan? If you're tired of measuring everything you eat, tired of diets telling you exactly what recipes to use for every meal and bored with weight loss shakes and teas, you're going to love the MINX Bikini Diet Plan.

Here are the guidelines: (Don't worry, they're not complicated or painful)

1.    Eat anything you want from the foods list, whenever you want. Do not eat anything that is not on the list.

2.    Drink a minimum of 2 litres Of water per day. If you hate plain water, drink diluted iced tea (yes, you can add sugar!), green iced tea or water with berries and sliced fruit added for flavour.

3.    Take 1000mg of Vitamin C twice per day, preferably morning and evening. Vitamin C lessens the amount of cortisol released into your bloodstream. Cortisol is the hormone responsible for the storage of belly fat. When you lessen the cortisol levels in your blood, your body will actually start getting rid of fat that's already stored on your abdomen. Additionally, Vitamin C stimulates the production of the hormone that actually transports that stored fat to where it can be metabolized as energy.

4.    Eat as early as possible in the morning and then at least every two hours throughout the day. You don't have to eat a full meal, but you do need to have a snack or mini-meal at least every two hours. This does several things: it also lessens cortisol release, it keeps your blood sugar (energy and mood) steady and it increases your metabolism.

These may seem like very simple guidelines; they are! The MINX Bikini Diet is meant to be easy to follow and easy to stay on. That doesn't mean it's not effective. It has been proven to be extremely effective, because it works with the way your metabolism was designed, not against it.

As simple as the guidelines are, you do need to follow all of them in order to get the results that are easily achieved with this diet. What results are those?

You'll lose more weight the first week than you will in subsequent weeks. This is normal, due to your metabolism speeding up and your body's response to lower cortisol levels. Some of the weight lost will be because of the loss of toxins and other junk that that your body can't process well (fried foods, trans-fats and additives are just a few of these) and therefore hangs onto for quite some time.

You can expect to lose between five and ten pounds the first week. This is NOT water weight, which is often the case with crash or fad diets. In the following weeks, you'll probably average four to seven pounds per week, depending on your current weight and eating habits. If you reach your goal weight early on, just increase your food intake. If you have more weight to lose after the first four weeks, it is perfectly safe to continue on the diet until you've reached your goal.

Next week, we'll give you some great ideas for “Smoothies to Smooth Those Abs!”
