You’re reading this because you want your best bikini bod ever and you want a simple solution to finding nutritious foods that taste good too. Here is a list of the top foods you should be eating on a regular basis to attain and keep your best bod ever! 

This guide is all you need to a sexy, sleek bikini bod this summer!

Fruits:

All fruits are acceptable when on the road to a better bikini bod.  Even frozen fruit and dried fruits without added sugar are acceptable.


These fruits are especially nutritious:

·      Vitamin-C rich fruits: kiwi, oranges, mango and grapefruit.

o   Vitamin-C is essential to both cell building and healing.

·      Red and Dark Fruits: blueberries, blackberries, cherries and strawberries.

o   These fruits are packed with heart-healthy anti-oxidants.

Fruit juices should be avoided at all costs. They lack the fiber that fruit in its natural state contain, raise blood sugar quickly and have too many empty calories, leaving you hungrier than you would be after eating the actual fruit.

Vegetables:

Here are some vegetables that are considered superfoods and should be included in your diet several times per day. 

·      Red and orange vegetables: sweet potatoes, red peppers, carrots and butternut squash are packed with antioxidants.

·      Dark leafy greens are also antioxidant-rich and full of iron, B-vitamins and plenty of essential phyto-nutrients.

·      Try these tasty, nutrient-dense leafy greens: spinach, kale, endive, mustard greens and Swiss chard.

Grains:

Not just any grains will do when on the quest for the best bod ever. Many grains contain empty calories and lack essential nutrients, including fiber, vitamins and minerals. Choose hefty whole grains that deliver micronutrients, fiber and produce a full feeling on consumption.

 

·      Whole grain bread. The heavier and denser it is, the more nutrition it will deliver.

·      Whole grain wheat Pita, tortillas or wraps.

·      Whole grain cereals. Choose any cold or hot whole grain or whole mixed-grain cereal, without added sugar.

·      Steel-cut whole oats.

·      Brown rice.

Seafood and Eggs:

 

Choose those rich in Omegas and when possible, buy wild-caught versus farmed cold-water species of fish and shellfish.

·      Salmon

·      Mackerel

·      Haddock

·      Sardines (packed in water)

·      Cod

·      Shrimp

·      Lobster

·      Crab

·      Eggs, boiled, scrambled or fried without butter, or with a heart-healthy alternative butter low in fat and rich in Omegas.

Dairy:

Dairy contains important animal proteins, but limit yourself to non-fat, 1%, or 2% milk.

 

    Nonfat, 1% or 2% fat milk.

·      Nonfat or low-fat cottage cheese.

·      Non-fat or low-fat cheeses such as mozzarella.

·      Nonfat or low-fat yogurt, pro-biotic if available.

Other Super Bikini-Bod Foods:

Olive oil

Canola Oil

Walnuts and almonds (raw if you can or roasted without sugar or salt if you prefer)

Honey

Sugar

Tea, preferably green, but black tea is fine

Coffee

Clear soups such as broth and miso
